Voula & Vouliamenis

Vouliagmeni: - is a long road that runs from Athens centre to Vouliagmeni centre, running parallel to the coast, the east side of the town is residences, with some of the most expensive housing real estate in Greece and where zoning is strictly enforced, the west side is covered with pine trees

This is where you will find Lake Vouliagmeni, a year-round swimming mineral spa where you can hold a function, the water is a constant 24 degrees Celsius temperature

Vouliagmeni has two peninsulas, Megalo and Mikro Kavouri, these two Kavouria feature beautiful and very popular sandy / pebble beaches with rocky shores, several luxury hotels including a hotel which occupies most of Mikro Kavouri pinincular

There is a nautical club (swimming, scubadiving (finswimming), water-skiing, sailing), a sports club (football, basketball, volleyball, tennis) and several luxurious seaside restaurants, taverns and cafeterias

You can also go scuba diving in the bay

Voula: -

Voula is the richer sister to Vouliameni, this means it is residential and has lots of private beaches, exclusive apartments and no commercial entertainment, just some local amenities

If the people of Voula want to be entertained, they go to Vouliameni or Glyfada

Staying here is upmarket; the buildings have gardens, pools and seclusion

But there is an organised beach in the western part on the coast, expensive but does take rifraf like us
