Attica, Athens and the area around here is a peninsula, in the Mediterranean

We have a long coast, beaches, cliffs, caves, coves, ports and people

Hotels, campsites, private estates, private land, temples

The sea is different, depending on the currents, channels and depth

The areas are different, rocky, sandy, coves have lots of marine life, some reef areas

Some areas can not be accessed by land, you have to take a boat or some water craft

All these types of coasts are available, you just have to decide if you want long white sand or tables atop of rocks in the sea with every table a picnic style dinner

You can rent self sail vehicles as well as hire out a fully crewed vessel

Putting up in a secluded cove for the night is a favourite, in season and out of season

There are many places that are not accessible by land and these are to be found along the coast away from Athens

As long as you take care and are sensible, you can even have a barbeque with a real fire
