Catering is not just for a day when you are on holiday, it is what you can have when ever you want, where ever you want.
Choose which cuisine you want, mix and match, their chefs are great innovators and have produced some of the haute cuisine dishes you can get at internationally.
They have always gone out side their country to learn techniques and brought them back here to use in their restaurants, gradually the Greeks have come to appreciate the difference and since the Olympics in 2004, where they started up new places for the tourists, the Greeks have been finding ‘doing it foreign’ is popular and fun, so you benefit because these services and establishments are still operating.
Many international companies know that all of Greece is a good place to have an Event, a grand opening, bonus holiday or convention because the services and facilities are here and they are adaptable, Sony recently proved it with their launch of the Play Station game extravaganza.

The food of Greece is Mediterranean, this means it is suited to the food grown here, the time of day it is served and the temperature at that time.
Then you have cultural and religious styles of food eaten at certain times.
I would say that up to 20 years ago they rarely went beyond what was normal. The week was divided up into food groups, fish twice a week, bean dishes once a week, pasta once a week, fresh vegetables once a week, read meat once a week and white meat once a week. With Christmas, Lent, Easter and other special religious holidays, they would have traditional food dishes as indicated.
Their restaurants were places of types, Souvelekis, where everything was off a grill or spit with pita and chips, a Magirio (rough translation is Home Cooking), a place where they cook dishes that they would have at home, maybe special dishes that take time to prepare and cook, like Mousaka, and a Taverna which supplies both.
Now it is different.

You have a nice cove by the sea all to your selves and you want a buffet available for you and your guests all the time you are there, rather like a hotel pool side, this can be arranged.
You have a night planned with a bonfire, music and barbeque, on a cliff top, in a ravine or on a beach; this is catered as a matter of course.
You are renting an apartment with a pool and you have arranged a day of pampering for the guests, you want food and drinks served all morning, this is catered.
You have a holiday where your group want different people to show their talents in choice of menu and setting, each night is a different person hosting the dinner, it is novel and great fun, but this needs catering.
Then of course if you have had a busy day at sports, your camping out as you go, so you arrange for catering to be where ever you will be that night, this way you can plot your travelling over the mountains and still get the holiday touch of being pampered.
Here they are used to going where the Event is, they are used to setting up outside and transport conditions are no problem. They are the best at what they do, so far it has been mainly for Greeks, so doing it for you is no problem.
