This is a long road with Fashion, bargain to exclusive, one after another, shoes, clothes and accessories with cafés and restraints, chains and mixed in with local amenities shops
These include a yacht shop, bakeries, some fantastic fabric shops and other specialist with services in the offices above, dentists, doctors and wine chemists
It is a road that joins the two main square in the centre of Athens, it has many arcades that offer all sorts of shops and services, book shops, clothes shops, fashion and opticians, offices and banks, worth a walk from Syntagma to Moonie just to see if it can offer you answers to any questions you did not know you had
This is a long road going through many areas; it starts at the junction of two major roads with TGI Fridays and end in the expensive residential district of Kiffisia
The shops all along it service the areas they go through, the haberdashers, the stationary shops, the shop where you walk in and get a made to measure night dress or slip while you wait, yes, they make it in the balcony work area above the shop whilst you wait in the Starbucks across the street
There is the famous Ice-cream factory, once in it is hard to get out without gaining a few kilos in weight, either from what you eat in there or what you have bought
Then there are the areas where there are just furniture shop after furniture shop, some imported but most made and designed in Greece, they do export and will ship your choice to you, after all Greece is the shipping capital of the world
Then there is the designer shops, shoes, clothes, accessories and heaut couture, shops that have 10 items in different sizes, designed and made by the shop, at reasonable prices that they will alter to fit you included in the price, an off the rail original fashion, this is normal here
Then you have the top end, Kiffisia, this is a village with a difference, it is a mixed community that shows in its shops, exclusive and original mixed with chain and name, throw in the paint shop for the locals and other amenity shops and you have a great place to stay the whole day, it is cooled by the mountains and has restaurants, bowling and other recreations to offer
Being another long road it is different in that it has culture, shops, areas and interest beyond just fashion, there are places that are only alive at night and is ever changing, it caters to the needs of the areas as well as commercial in places, large commercial shops and centres, just get a bus and go the full length, coming back you can get off at what you noticed on the way, some really unusual place to be found including some interesting platieas
