Paragliding or Parapente

They do have clubs here and they do have places they go to do it

What the rules are as to where it is legal or illegal to paraglide is information I have yet to find

But contacting the clubs should give you a good idea

Most coastal areas and the mountains away from air restricted sections are free to soar in

It is known here as something international people do but it is not common

With the fires in 2007 because of the extremely hot weather, the views over the landscape are extraordinary, a camera persons dream

Not just off the back of a motor boat

They do have motorboats by the sea that you can rent out and have a wonderful time being dragged around the bays

You can also arrange for a double chute to provide the lift-off at a marriage ceremony once you say I do

Floating round the area, a whole party could have a unique sightseeing tour of the country, villagers will be surprised if you settle down to have a coffee in the local taverna before you set off

Travelling from town to town this way is a unique way to see the country, from top to bottom, is it backpacking?
